Fit is not a size range
Every style is graded on its own pattern from XS to 3XL and fitted on real bodies. We do not scale a single sample up and call it inclusive.

Designed and finished in Tampa, Florida
The house
POISE MARKETING, LLC is an independent womenswear house working out of Tampa, FL 33647. We design, cut and finish here, and we name every mill and maker we work with.
Our story
In 2019 we set out to draft a single cotton shirt that fit properly across the shoulders without gaping at the chest. It took eleven patterns. The twelfth is still the basis of everything we cut.
What began as one pattern became a small house with a fixed idea: fewer pieces, better made, graded honestly across the full size range. We do not run seasonal drops and we do not discount to clear. When a run is finished, that is the end of it.
Today the studio designs, samples and finishes every style in Tampa, and publishes the actual garment measurements — in inches — on each product page, measured flat from the finished piece rather than copied from a chart.
What guides us
Every style is graded on its own pattern from XS to 3XL and fitted on real bodies. We do not scale a single sample up and call it inclusive.
Merino from a mill in Biella, linen from a weaver we have visited, silk from a supplier we have used since the first shirt. Every one is listed on the product page.
We cut what we can sell. We would rather tell you something is gone than produce a second run into a landfill.
No invented original prices, no rolling promotions. The number on the page is the number we can stand behind all season.
How it is made
The same sequence every time, from the first sketch to the parcel that reaches your door.
We start from the pattern block that already fits, then draft the new shape by hand. Nothing is graded until the sample is right.
Two to four samples per style, worn for a fortnight by people in the studio before it is signed off. Most styles die here.
Fabric is chosen against the finished sample, not before it. We buy only what the run needs, from mills we have visited.
Cut and sewn in small batches, with the knitwear produced by a family-run mill we have worked with since 2019.
Pressed, measured flat, photographed and packed in Tampa without plastic. Measurements go on the page exactly as taken.
From the studio
A small house has one real advantage: we can say no. No to a fabric that pills after a month, no to a size range that stops at XL, no to a price we would have to cut in six weeks to move the stock.
What is left after all that refusing is a short list of things we genuinely believe in — and that is the entire collection.
